Each year, the Lionsgate Portal offers us a new opportunity for expansion, transformation, and a deeper alignment with the light we are here to express. This year, however, it arrives with a heightened AMPLIFICATION of the star within us, only days before the extraordinary Total Solar Eclipse New Moon in Leo we will seal with our Perseid Meteor Shower event.

The Lionsgate Portal traditionally opens around July 26th, reaches its energetic peak on 8/8, and carries us toward the Perseid Meteor Shower around August 12th. This period has long been associated with heightened creativity, visionary insights, synchronicity, spiritual illumination, and rapid transformation.

For those wondering why we call it Lionsgate, its symbolism brings together Leo, our Sun, and Sirius, the Dog Star, the brightest star in our night sky. Sirius has held extraordinary significance across ancient cultures, particularly in ancient Egypt. In esoteric traditions, Sirius has become known as our Spiritual Sun, a higher illumination beyond the physical Sun that sustains our earthly lives to fulfill the gold within our soul. Sirius is around 25 times more luminous than our Sun, and during this period it is traditionally understood to come into an energetic relationship with our Sun in Leo. Lionsgate teachings also connect Sirius and Orion’s Belt symbolically with the Great Pyramid of Giza, creating the celestial architecture from which the modern 8:8 portal takes much of its imagery.

Whether we approach this astronomically, symbolically, energetically, or through ancient consciousness, the invitation is fascinating:

This is where our work begins. Sirius represents the Spiritual Sun and the gateway to the heavens within us, illuminating the prosperous light we are here to express. Leo gives that light courage, creativity, heart, visibility, and the audacity to occupy space.

And 2026 makes visibility particularly potent. Only four days after the 8:8 peak, we arrive at the Total Solar Eclipse New Moon in Leo on August 12th. Lionsgate therefore becomes an extraordinary threshold into the eclipse, amplifying the conversation around what we are prepared to reveal, create, embody, and finally allow to be seen.

We begin with Sirius, the Spiritual Sun, connecting with the 8:8 energy to illuminate your ideas, creativity, knowledge, calling, and particular frequency within the collective. This is not visibility for attention’s sake. It is about allowing what you carry to become visible.

There is little point in asking for amplification while simultaneously editing yourself to remain digestible to everyone around you. We will identify where you have dimmed, concealed, delayed, or diluted yourself because of how others may respond.

You cannot amplify the star within while continually turning down its light.
